I love my show!! Smallville was great tonight. Tom looked stunning as usual...drool worthy! Also, lots of Clark in this episode!
Here are my thougths on Rabid...a little jumbled...
Clark was smart, creative, a hero! I thought this episode showed Clark moving forward with his life. The scene where he took Lana's photo out of his wallet and put it away and closed the book on that chapter of his life was well played. When I first saw the picture of Lana, I was concerned with where they were going with it.
The zombies were well done, the make up was excellent! Zombie Tess and Lois aren't something I will soon forget. The fight scenes were well done
Dr. Hamilton's reaction to Clark speeding him away...priceless!.
Zod at the end...brutal but so fitting. I like an evil villain!
I didn't mind Chloe in this episode as much as I did in Savior and Metallo. I thought in the scene where she went with Dr Hamilton, you could see the difficulty she was having in leaving Clark unconscious. I am not sure about her spying on the JLA but I will wait to see how that plays out. I am just not sure if she is doing this for the 'right' reasons?
Didn't like the exchange between Clark and Oliver where Clark told Ollie that he was correct and that Clark should have listened to him. What happened with Clark's original plan of putting Davis in the Phantom Zone. Sounded like a reasonable plan to me. Oliver was the one who stabbed his friend in the back with a Kryptonite arrow and left him. Is anyone (Chloe or Oliver or the rest of the JLA) going to apologize to Clark??
The show does feel like there has been an increase in budget or they are making better use of the budget they have
So far, season 9 is shaping up to be great...now, the writers just have to stay on this path for the entire season!.
